To date, Jurassic Industrial Park has commissioned a facility for the synthesis, extraction and purification of growth factors for use in cosmetic and health food business. The cosmetic products are being marketed by Lions of Asia Group in Hong Kong, Japan and Southeast Asia. The Park also concluded an agreement with Taishan Pharmaceutical Works, which extended licensing rights to the Park for the construction of facilities to manufacture pharmaceuticals. Currently Jurassic Industrial Park and Amerilab Technologies Inc. of the United States has engaged in the construction of a facility for the making of effervescent products to be marketed in China and Hong Kong. The Park also reached an agreement with the Worldwide Nutrition Inc. to build a facility for the manufacturing of health and nutritional products for the China and Southeast Asia market. A tentative agreement with Hua Yi Pharmaceuticals has been reached to put a soft-gel capsule filling facility in the Park in the future for making medicine, health food and cosmetics. Finally, negotiation has begun for the construction of a 10, 000 sq. metres facility with annual capacity of producing 2500 tonnes of food and industrial grade xanthan gum. This is the first phase of a three part project that will eventually produce up to 7500 tonnes per year of various grades of xanthan gum products.
